One little boy in my Kindergarten class, whose name is Christopher, told me one day that he only wanted to write half of his name on his coloring page.
"No problem," I said, expecting him to print "Chris" on his page.
Later that morning, as I was going through the coloring pages, I came across Christopher's paper.
Along the top of the page, in bright purple crayon, was the name "Christ".
A few days later it was Christopher's turn for Show and Tell. He had brought in a red fire truck to show his classmates. As usual, the kids all got a chance to ask questions, and one little boy asked, "When did you get it?"
Christopher answered, "At Christmas."
Another question: "Who gived it to you?"
Christopher said, quite truthfully, "Um...Jesus."
So, Jesus gave Christ a fire truck for Christmas.
How much sweeter can it get?

Show & Tell/ God & Evil
Every day in Kindergarten we have Show and Tell, when one lucky member of the class can bring in something special to show the class. After their little presentation of their item, they are allowed to take questions. Here are some common ones the kids ask:
1) How many days have you had it?
2) Do you play with it in your backyard?
3) Who gave it to you?
4) How many days have you had it? (This one comes up numerous time in one morning.)
The Kindergartner's have been learning about even and odd numbers. The teacher will hold up different amounts of blocks and ask the class if they are even or odd. One little guy (who happens to be the teacher's son) went home and was telling his dad about how he was learning about God and Evil at school. When questioned further, he said, "You know. Evil and God numbers. 1 is God. 2 is Evil."
